Amanpour started her 2015 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival campaign with a close sixth in the Group 3 Wenona Girl Quality (1200m) at Royal Randwick on March 7 and she finished a game second behind Catkins in the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 28 before she led from start to finish to record the biggest win of her racing career to date in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) at Royal Randwick on April 11.

The Northern Meteor colt was sent to the spelling paddock following her upset Queen Of The Turf Stakes win, but she has now been back in work for several months and she finished a credible third behind Candelara in a barrier trial over 1200 metres at Warwick Farm on August 28.

Another Group 1 winner that has been included in the 2015 Theo Mark Stakes nominations is Famous Seamus, who has not been seen at the races since he finished ninth in the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) at Royal Randwick on April 18.

Famous Seamus was set to return to the races in the Group 2 Tramway Stakes (1400m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday, but he was scratched from the race due to wet weather and he is now likely to return in the Theo Marks Stakes.

Strawberry Boy and Messene were both also ruled out of the Tramway Stakes due to the wet weather and were both included in the Theo Marks Stakes nominations.

Waller has also included Queensland Oaks winner Winx in the Theo Marks Stakes nominations, but she has also been entered for the Group 3 Sheraco Stakes (1200m) for fillies and mares.

Winx has been included in the nominations for all the major races during the 2015 Spring Racing Carnival, but trainer Chris Waller is yet to determine what path four-year-old will follow during the spring.

The Group 3 Show County Quality (1200m) is set to be a key form race for the Theo Marks Stakes and the likes of Decision Time, Boss Lane, Vashka, Heart Testa and Aomen are set to back-up in the Group 2 event this weekend.

The consistent Never Back Down, Team Hawkes-trained Ninth Legion, the enigmatic Nostradamus and Hawkesbury Gold Cup winner Sons Of John round out the 2015 Theo Marks Stakes initial entries.
