Rawiller, who has recently returned to riding in Sydney after being disqualified for 15 months after being found guilty of receiving gifts or money in exchange for tips in Hong Kong, has been in fine form with five metropolitan winner’s since the start of the new racing season on August 1.

Rawiller has been testing out In Her Time as his mount in the $14m The Everest and confirmed that he will be riding the Lees trained mare after partnering her into second place behind stablemate Graff in a 900m barrier trial on the course proper at Newcastle this morning.

“The Everest is still a long way away but that’s the plan for me to ride her,” Rawiller told AAP.

“I came up and gave her a gallop six or eight weeks ago.”

“I trialled her at Gosford then she trialled again this morning and she’s made really nice improvement.

“She’s still five weeks away from a run, There’s no rush with her, but every time I’ve ridden her she’s given me a bit more fitness and improvement.

“She’s right where Kris wants her at the moment. She’s right on track.

In Her Time has been selected to run in The Everest slot owned by Inglis after finishing seventh to Redzel  in the TAB’s slot in the 2018 The Everest.

The former Ben Smith trained mare has been a consistent Group 1 performer sine the Autumn of 2017 and has two Group 1 wins and five Group 1 placings on her race record.
