Invincible Dame made her first public appearance with a smart barrier trial performance at Royal Randwick on November 17 and stamped herself as a genuine Magic Millions contender with an impressive trial win at Rosehill Gardens on November 25.

Trainer Sam Kavanagh told Racing Ahead that Invincible Dame has impressed with everything since has done at trackwork and in her barrier trial starts to date and he is excited to see her make her racing debut, but wants to see the I Am Invincible filly produced the same performance under race conditions before he gets ahead of himself.

“She has had a bit of media attention because she has been very impressive in her trials and we are very excited about her, but there are plenty of horses that can do it in their trials but they need to go to the raceday and put it on the board,” Kavanagh said.

“We are certainly very excited about tomorrow, but we are not going there extremely bullish and expecting big things.

“We are just hoping that she will bring what she has done at home in her trials to the races.”

Kavanagh revealed last month that the $2 million Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast on January 10 will be the major target for Invincible Dame this preparation, but he is yet to work out what path she will follow to the lucrative event.

The Wyong Magic Millions Classic on December 19 looms as the most likely option for Invincible Dame, but the rising trainer said that the performance of the two-year-old on Saturday as well as the weather in New South Wales will dictate where she will have her second race start.

“It obviously depends a bit on Saturday and how she comes through it with the track conditions and how she handles racing and so on.

“She is a tough little thing and at this stage probably Wyong is her next go, which will be 13 days after Saturday, but there is races the following day at Rosehill and the week after at Canterbury.

“She will be third-up in the Magic Millions and she has to qualify as well, so we will just keep nominating and tick off the best race for her at the time.

“Our program has always been third-up into the Magic Millions.”

Invincible Dame is currently available at odds of $4.20 to make a winning start to her racing career in the Sire Custodians Plate betting market with Ladbrokes Australia.
