The Tony Gollan trained Zelady’s Night Out heads the order of entry for the Group 1 $3.5m Longines Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on March 19.

Zelady’s Night Out is the winner of three of her four race starts and has earned $211,600 in prizemoney.
The Myboycharlie filly scored on debut in a two year old Handicap (1050m) at Doomben and then in the Listed $100,000 The Groove Train Calaway Gal Stakes (1050m) at Doomben on December 12.
Gollan then took her to the Gold Coast where she was a convincing winner in the Group 3 $150,000 B.J. McLachlan Stakes (1200m) on Boxing Day before running ninth to Capitalist in the $2m Magic Millions 2yo Classic (1200m) at the Gold Coast on January 9.
But even though Zelady’s Night Out is at the top of the order of entry, she is only rated a $67 chance for the Golden Slipper Stakes with Ladbrokes.com.au.
$4 favourite Capitalist is only equal eighth in the order of entry with the $124,200 winning prizemoney he earned for his win in the $200,000 Wyong Magic Millions 2yo Classic (1100m) at Wyong on December 17 and the $1.205 million winning prizemoney of the Magic Millions 2yo Classic not be deemed eligible for the Golden Slipper Stakes balloting conditions.
But the $90,000 Capitalist picked up for is win in the Listed $150,000 Newgate Breeders’ Plate (1000m) at Randwick on October 3 is enough for the Peter and Paul Snowden trained colt to earn a start in the world’s richest two year old race.
Capitalist was sent for a short ease up after winning the Magic Millions 2yo Classic and is likely to kick off his Golden Slipper Stakes campaign in the Group 2 $300,000 Todman Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on March 5.
“He’ll trial on February 22 then it’s two weeks into the Todman then another two weeks into the Slipper,” Snowden told Racenet.
“He is an exciting horse and let’s hope he’s a horse to look forward to in the future.”
The John O’Shea trained Tessera ($138,750) has moved into the number two spot in the order of entry after winning a 1100m two year old Plate at Randwick on January on January 16 then led all the way again to take out the Group 3 $150,000 Canonbury Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill on January 30.
Tessera is currently marked as s $21 chance.
Next in the order of entry for the Golden Slipper Stakes are third, Yankee Rose ($137,200), fourth, Power Trip ($98,250), fifth, Cohesion ($98,000), sixth, Scarlet Rain ($97.500), seventh, Star Turn ($96.800), eighth, Calliope ($90,000), Capitalist ($90,000), Extreme Choice ($90,000) and Honesty Prevails ($90,000), twelfth, Missrock ($86,000), thirteenth, Dieters ($83,200), fourteenth, Faraway Town ($73,850), fifteenth Sweet Sherry ($73,200), sixteenth, Highland Beat ($65,750).
