Winx will be aiming High again and will be Unforgotten and the Barman will have no Egg on his face as the super star mare looks unbeatable in the 2018 Group 1 $500,000 Colgate Optic White (George Main) Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on Saturday.

Winx will be taking on Group 1 winning stablemates Unforgotten, Egg Tart and Who Shot Thebarman as well as Victoria Derby winner Ace High but a twenty-seventh straight victory looks inevitable in Saturday’s weight for age contest over the famous Randwick Mile.

Bookies at Ladbrokes.com.au have Winx at the unbackable odds off $1.10 with her nearest rival in the betting for the George Main Stakes is Unforgotten at $12 while Le Romain is the only other runner under the $20 mark at $13.

Trainer Chris Waller can’t fault Winx in either looks or condition as she lines up for her thirty-seventh race start and as well as going for twenty-seven consecutive wins, will be chasing her twentieth Group 1 trophy and her third straight win in the George Main Stakes.

“She has come back stronger again this prep,” Waller told AAP.

“I don’t get confused anymore because she has still been growing and developing up until now. She doesn’t show the signs of slowing down.

“She just holds her condition right through.”

“Now you will send her to the races and she will drop a couple of kilos and then you put her on the scales on a Monday and she is back within a kilo or two of her racing weight

“Almost horses at the start of the prep lose 10 kilos and put most of it back on but not all of it.

“She will stay the same weight.

“She doesn’t eat any more than other horses. It’s almost like she keeps an eye on her weight. It is quite weird.

“She is just a unique horse. Maybe it is because she is not under pressure to win her races. That’s why she wins because she is actually doing it with a bit in hand.

“She is great and I can’t see any reason why she can’t continue on a bit longer.”

Winx kicked off her 2018 Spring Carnival campaign with another dominant win in the Group 1 $500,000 Winx Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on August 18 and she is on track to claim an historic fourth straight win in the Group 1 $5m Ladbrokes Cox Plate (2040m) at The Valley on October 27.
