Twenty-seven mares have been nominated for the Summoned Stakes with Waller entering Ballet Suite, She’s Clean and Telepathic.

Ballet Suite was a scratching from last Saturday’s Group 2 $300,000 Presto Matriarch Stakes (2000m) at Flemington and will head to Sandown without a run from three weeks.

The High Chaparral mare last went around for a fourth to Coronation Shallan in the Group 3 $150,000 G1X.com.au Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley on October 24.

She’s Clean is coming off a third to Scarlet Billows in the Group 3 $200,000 Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on November 3.

The Redoute’s Choice seven year old was last in the winner’s stall three starts back when she proved too strong for Two Blue in the Group 3 $125,000 Suez Tibbie Stakes (1400m) at Newcastle on September 18.

Telepathic has been racing fairly in restricted class but will find Saturday’s Group 3 Summoned Stakes tougher than her last start second to the improving Artistry in a 1500m BenchMark 85 Handicap at Rosehill on October 31.

Melbourne Cup winning trainer Darren Weir will be looking for another Spring Carnival feature race win and has nominated last start winners Felicienne and Scarlet Billows.

Scarlet Billows scored a clear cut win in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes on Melbourne Cup Day while Felicienne will be facing a huge jump in class coming off a win in a 1400m BenchMark 64 Handicap at Ballarat on November 2.

Gerald Ryan’s mare Solicit will be better suited in the Summoned Stakes after running midfield when eighth to Politeness in the Group 1 $500,000 Myer Classic (1600m) at Flemington on Derby Day.

At her previous run Solicit raced on the pace before going down narrowly to La Passe when second in the Group 2 $200,000 Schweppes Tristarc Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on October 17.

Hawkesbury trained mare Casino Dancer could prove to be one of the main chances in the Summoned Stakes if she can repeat her last effort when a closing third behind Lucia Valentina and Manageress in last Saturday’s Matriarch Stakes.
