Trainer John O’Shea thinks the 1600m of the Queensland Guineas will be ideal for Unbreakable who failed to run out the 2200m when eighth in the Group 3 $150,000 Mullins Lawyers Grand Prix Stakes at Doomben on May 28.

“James (McDonald) said the trip had seen him out last start and that was probably the same in Melbourne the start before. He’s been freshened up, he looks really well, he’s drawn nicely, so it looks like a good race for him,” O’Shea said.

Unbreakable’s Melbourne form before heading to Queensland saw him win a 1800m three year old Handicap at Caulfield on April 30 followed by a third to Tavi Bay in a 2000m three year old Handicap at the same track.

The Hard Spun three year old has drawn well at barrier three in the capacity eighteen horse field and James McDonald is certain to take up a forward position again.

Unbreakable is marked at the good odds of $19 for the Queensland Guineas at Ladbrokes.com.au who have the Chris Waller trained Tsaritsa as the $2.90 favourite.

Hong Kong’s leading jockey Joao Moreira will be on board Tsaritsa who is the winner of three of her six race starts, including her last two in a 1250m Three year old BenchMark 67 Handicap at Canterbury on April 27 and in a 1400m three year old BenchMark 75 Handicap at Rosehill on May 21.

Next in the betting is the Mike Moroney trained Tivaci and Toowoomba filly Song For Song at $9.

Tivaci will strip fitter after a first up fourth to Counterattack in the Group 3 $125,000 Sky Racing Fred Best Classic (1350m) at Doomben on May 23 while Sold For Song can do better than her last start twelfth in the same race.

Market order for the Queensland Guineas at Ladbrokes.com.au: $2.90 Tsaritsa, $9 Tivaci, Sold For Song, $9.50 Too Good To Refuse, Kimberley Star, $14 Royal Tudor, Denmagic, $18 Perfect Dare, $19 Unbreakable, $21 Havasay, Mr Individual, Reneged, $26 Invincible Knight, Shotacrosss The Bow, Fife, High Spirit, $41 Salmanazar, $51 Cashing Up, Typing, $81 Passion In Flight, $91 Indarra.
