The Phillip Stokes-trained three-year-old had to work hard early from a wide draw but Luke Nolen managed to find a spot behind leader Walk With Attitude.

From there Maybe Discreet got a comfortable ride on the back of the leader before kicking clear in the straight and hanging on from the fast-finishing Members Joy.

Phillip Stokes stable representative Kate McMahon confirmed the daughter of Shamardal would now be set for the Thousand Guineas (1600m) on October 17.

“We’re enroute now for the Guineas and hopefully she’ll step up for that as well,” McMahon said.

“She settled really good today and Luke gave her a smashing ride.

“Ten days to go, she’ll pull up well I have no doubt. She’s very sound and Luke will keep the ride and we’ll keep going.”

Nolen was riding Maybe Discreet for the first time and suggested she had the potential to continue her success in the Thousand Guineas.

“She’s got a good racing style,” Nolen said.

“She showed good determination to fight them off at the furlong and probably got a little bit lost. All in all I thought the effort was really good.

“I think she’ll be really suited at Caulfield.”

Favourite Commanding Jewel was given every chance by Damien Oliver but failed to match Maybe Discreet in the straight and eventually finished in third position.

Howdy, I do think your web site could possibly be having internet browser compatibility problems. When I take a look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in Internet Explorer, it’s got some overlapping issues. I merely wanted to provide you with a quick heads up! Apart from that, excellent blog!|

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for inexperienced blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.|

Hey! I realize this is sort of off-topic however I needed to ask. Does running a well-established website such as yours require a massive amount work? I’m brand new to writing a blog however I do write in my journal everyday. I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners. Thankyou!|

Aw, this was an exceptionally good post. Spending some time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and never manage to get anything done.|
