Rising star Terravista gets his chance to continue on his winning ways after coming up with a good barrier draw in the Group 2 $200,000 Bowermans Office Furniture Shorts (1100m) at Randwick on Saturday.

Jockey Corey Brown is certain to give Terravista the run of the race from barrier four in the field of twelve and the Joe Pride trained gelding will be very hard to beat if he can repeat has last start winning effort in the Group 3 $125,000 Show County Quality (1200m) at Randwick on August 23.
Terravista has trialled since winning the Show County Quality and Pride was ecstatic with the five year olds hit out to finish second over 807m at Rosehill on September 12.
“I have never seen a horse trial better than Terravista,” Pride told AAP.
“I got goose bumps.
“The plan is the Shorts and then the Premiere Stakes and if he wins those then we could take on the VRC Sprint at Flemington.”
Wouldnt It Be Nice was back in the winner’s list last start and has drawn midfield at seven with Sam Clipperton to ride.
Trainer John O’Shea will saddle up Sessions and Safeguard for Godolphin with both sprinters having their first runs back a spell.
Sessions has drawn gate six with James McDonald while Safeguard with Kerrin McEvoy to ride has drawn to his outside at eight.
Top weight Famous Seamus didn’t fare well in the barrier draw coming up with gate eleven at his first run back since competing during the Brisbane Winter Carnival.
Tim Clark has been re-united with the Famous Seamus after Brisbane jockey Ryan Wiggins partner the six year old in his Queensland campaign which netted them a win in the Group 1 $400,000 Bundaberg Distilling Co. BTC Cup (1200m) at Doomben.
Leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller has only one runner in the Shorts with Whittington having his first run for the stable and will jump from gate three with Zac Purton to ride.
