Consistent performer Dothraki will carry the top weight of 59kg with Hugh Bowman booked to ride and will jump from barrier six in the field that has reduced to thirteen starters following the early scratchings of Elegant Compromise and Bonny O’Reily.

The Chris Anderson trained Elegant Composure and Bjorn Baker’s Bonny O’Reilly will both take their place against the fillies and mares in the Listed $100,000 IPG Marketing Solutions Helen Coughlan Stakes (1200m).

Dothraki rarely puts in a below par performance and is coming off a brave first up third in the Listed $150,000 Arrowfield Ortensia Stakes (1100m) at Scone on May 13 and has since won a 900m Rosehill barrier trial on May 26.

Snippets Land has drawn awkwardly at barrier nine with Damian Browne in the saddle and will be fitter for one run back from a spell for a sixth to Jungle Edge in the Group 3 $125,000 Taxibox BRC Sprint (1350m) at Doomben on May 20.

Attention is the only three year old in the Moreton Cup field and has drawn in close at barrier four with Kathy O’Hara taking over the reins from Jeff Lloyd who was aboard the colt for a last start fourth to Savanna Amour in the Group 3 $125,000 Gold Coast Guineas (1200m) at the Gold Coast on May 6.

Gold Coast trainer Toby Edmonds also has multiple runners in the Moreton Cup with The Virginian from barrier three with Jim Byrne on top and Siegfried who will jump from the outside gate with Jeff Lloyd in the saddle.

The Virginian returned to the race track with a brilliant first up win in the Listed $100,000 IPG Marketing Solutions Chief De Beers (1050m) at Doomben on May 20 while Siegfried battled on for second to Religify in the Listed $100,000 Australia’s Gold Coast Prime Minister’s Cup (1400m) at the Gold Coast on May 6.

The Darren Beadman trained pair of Federal and Handfast will carry the Godolphin royal blue in the Moreton Cup.

Tommy Berry takes the reins on Federal from barrier two while Handfast has drawn out wider at seven for Robbie Fradd.

The Gerald Ryan trained Deploy comes into barrier ten following the scratchings of Elegant Composure and Bonny O’Reilly with Tim Clark to ride.

Deploy is the early favourite for the Moreton Cup at $5 at Ladbrokes.com.au just ahead of The Virginian at $5.50 and Attention at $6.
