Super screen for Rosehill Gardens on Saturday

Patrons going to Rosehill Gardens on Saturday for the dual Group 1 meeting are set to see the new super screen in action for the first time.

The Australian Turf Club will launch the largest LED semaphore and replay screen in the Southern Hemisphere to kick off the start of the 2012 Sydney Autumn Carnival.

The 440 square metre screen will show live racing and display race totes as well featuring revolutionary camera angles and new content.

Australian Turf Club chief operating officer Ian Mackay welcomed this latest technology in keeping with the clubs policy to provide patrons with the best facilities available from around the world.

“This super screen uses state-of-the-art technology and is in line with our plans to bring the facilities for Sydney racing in line with the best in the world,”Mackay said.

“Our patrons will get an unprecedented view of the action with larger images and never-before-seen angles making the patron experience at the race track second to none.”

“We are determined to make being at the races as exciting as it can be and this amazing piece of infrastructure is another reason why the public should attend our flagship course in Sydney’s west, Rosehill Gardens.”

“Those arriving at the course on Saturday will be surprised when they see the size of the screen- it is very hard to miss.”

World renowned outdoor video display technology firm from the US, Daktronics manufactured and installed the super screen.

Rosehill Gardens will also feature the new plastic running rail for the first time to coincide with the first day of the Autumn Carnival.
