Sterling City made his racing debut back in March of 2012 and he worked his way through the grades in impressive fashion before he made his debut at Group level at the end of 2013 in the Group 2 Jockey Club Sprint (1200m).

The Nadeem entire was far from disgraced when fifth behind Lord Kanaloa in the Group 1 Hong Kong Sprint (1200m) and he was placed in the Group 1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize (1200m) in February of last year before he claimed his maiden Group 1 victory in the Dubai Golden Shaheen (1200m) at Meydan on March 24.

Sterling City returned to Hong Kong, but he was unable to replicate the same sort of form at the end of last year in races like the Jockey Club Sprint and Hong Kong Sprint and he missed the placings in the Group 1 Centenary Sprint Cup (1000m) on January 25 and The Chairman’s Sprint Prize on February 15 earlier this year.

Connections ended to send Sterling City to the Lindsay Park Team after he finished at the tail of the field in the Citibank Global Banking Handicap (1200m) on March 1 and he took a while to acclimatize to his new environment before he finished a credible fourth in a barrier trial over 800 metres at Cranbourne on August 10.

Sterling City will need to be at his very best to make a winning start to his Australian racing career as a number of talented sprinters have been included in the 2015 Bobbie Lewis Quality nominations.

Bounding returned to racing with a dominant win in the Heath 1100 at Caulfield on August 29 and she has been entered for the Bobbie Lewis Quality, but she has also been included in the Sheraco Stakes nominations in Sydney.

Rich Enuff finished second behind Bounding in The Heath and he will be given the chance to turn-the-tables on his rival in the Bobbie Lewis Quality on the same card as he won the Danehill Stakes in impressive fashion 12 months ago.

The likes of Gregers, Jabali, Kaepernick, Lucky Hussler, Riziz, Setinum, Under The Louvre, Vezalay, We’re Gonna Rock and Worthy Cause have also been included in the 2015 Bobbie Lewis Quality nominations.
