So You Think

So You Think blitzing the field in the 2010 Cox Plate

Australian export So You Think has begun his European career in thrilling style, after winning the Group 3 Mooresbridge Stakes at The Curragh by an incredible ten lengths last week, and his new trainers have told of their delight at having him there.

Michael Kirwan, Coolmore Stud’s general manager, has told of how happy the stable is to train the talented So You Think.

“He showed us exactly what he is,” Kirwan said of So You Think’s last win.

“He’s a very high-class horse and I think his time form racing will tell you that.”

Coolmore’s top trainer, Aiden O’Brien, is renowned for keeping his opinions under wraps; however, Kirwan divulged that the trainer is over the moon with So You Think’s performance.

“Aiden likes to let the horses do the talking,” Kirwan said.

“Aiden couldn’t be happier with this horse.

“Aiden definitely compares this horse to some of the best horses he’s trained.”

So You Think’s next assignment will be the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh, where the northern hemisphere five-year-old will come up against one of Europe’s most dominant stayers; Workforce.

“He’s going to run in the Group 1 Tattersalls Cup at The Curragh,” Kirwan said.

The four-year-old Workforce will be first up after winning the Group 1 Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe last October.

The King’s Best entire has won two of his four race starts and has already accrued more than £1.65 million in his short career.

Kirwan is fully aware of the danger they face in going up against Workforce, but is hoping So You Think’s recent dominant win might make his trainer think twice about running him in the race.

“He’s the bench mark really as a four-year-old,” Kirwan said.

“With So You Think winning so easily last week it might scare him off.”

With a top-class schedule of runs this year, Coolmore Stud will be hoping for successes that will lead to So You Think having a lucrative career as stallion.

Kirwan did not dismiss rumours that the High Chaparral entire may soon be retired to stud.

“He may start off a career in Europe next year,” Kirwan said.

However, it won’t just be Europe that will have the chance to breed with the incredible So You Think, with the stallion set to make regular trips to Australia during our breeding season.

“Oh absolutely, he’ll definitely be shuttling,” Kirwan said.

So You Think’s next start in the Tattersalls Gold Cup is scheduled to take place in Ireland on May 22.

Together with every little thing that appears to be building within this specific subject material, a significant percentage of perspectives are somewhat stimulating. On the other hand, I beg your pardon, but I can not subscribe to your whole strategy, all be it exhilarating none the less. It looks to everybody that your opinions are not totally justified and in reality you are yourself not entirely certain of the point. In any event I did enjoy examining it.
