So You Think A World Cup Prospect

So You Think could be sent to yet another country with Coolmore currently weighing up a possible assault on the Dubai World Cup Carnival.

So You Think has racked up plenty of frequent flyer miles over the course of last season since leaving Australia in 2010.

In fact the two time Cox Plate champion has raced in four different countries at his last four starts.

He’s based in Ireland but has crossed the ditch to England, hopped over the channel to France and even jumped the Atlantic to the United States.

The travel hasn’t seemed to do him much good though with his form wavering in the unusual conditions and new surfaces.

This is despite starting his campaign off in fine style with wins in three Group 1 races including the Coral Eclipse.

The Dubai mission was flagged on Twitter by the wife of trainer Aidan O’Brien who said,He will be entered for the race but obviously no decision will be made until nearer the time.”

If So You Think were to go to the meeting it would make the Aussie presence even stronger with both Sepoy and Helmet also booked in for the meeting.

Ex-American and 2011 Melbourne Cup starter Unusual Suspect is also a chance to feature with his Dubai campaign getting underway a month out from the main event.
