Shooting To Win is now available at 2015 Hobartville Stakes odds of $4.20 and has been a clear market mover in betting markets for the Group 2 event at Rosehill Gardens tomorrow.

Shooting To Win opened at a quote of $4.60 when the Hobartville Stakes field was released earlier in the week, but he has been the only one the punters have come for in the past 24 hours and is set to start the race as a clear favourite.
The Northern Meteor colt has not been seen at the races since he scored an upset win over Rich Enuff in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) in October last year, but Shooting To Win has done plenty of work in the lead-up to his return to racing and Snowden is happy with the fitness level of the Group 1 winner heading into the Hobartville Stakes.
“He is really good,” Snowden said.
“I couldn’t be happier with him going into the race tomorrow.
“It is like a Silver Slipper tomorrow – they are all there and there is no hiding for anybody, but he is there as well and he is ready to go.
“It is early days in every horses preparation and there is no doubt that horses are going to benefit from tomorrows run, but we have to worry about our horse.
“He has been kept up to the mark with two solid trials and a ready good gallop at Rosehill.”
Shooting To Win was allocated barrier ten when the 2015 Hobartville Stakes field was released on Wednesday and Snowden admits that jockey Blake Shinn may face a tricky assignment in the early stages of the race.
Snowden is confident that Scissor Kick and Panzer Division will guarantee that there is plenty of early speed in the Hobartville Stakes, but said that he would still like to see the three-year-old close to the lead.
“It looks a bit sticky because the main chances are drawn out wide and they are both go forward horses,” Snowden said.
“I think it will be pretty competitive up front for the first three furlongs and then everybody will sort there order out.
“We will need to begin positive and hopefully we can take up a forward position in the first three pairs.”
Shooting To Win remains on top of the 2015 Hobartville Stakes betting market with Ladbrokes from Scissor Kick ($5.50), Panzer Division ($6), Hallowed Crown ($6), Delectation ($8) and Sweynesse ($8.50).
