Snowden is anticipating the Sessions could join multiple Group 1 winner Epaulette in the Group 1 $1m Patinack Farm Classic (1200m) at Flemington on November 9.

Sessions is a winner of four races from six starts and indicated that he is ready to handle the step up to Group company with a two lengths barrier trial win over 900m at Rosehill yesterday.

“He quickened very nicely, there’s a lot to like about it,” Snowden told Racing Network.

“He really needs to get his rating up. He’s only 88 at the moment.”

“He needs to run well in one of these races in Sydney to get his rating up so he can ran in some of those nice races in Melbourne.

“He really has to put his hand up in these next two races.”

Following the Concorde Stakes, Sessions will then line up in the Group 2 $200,000 The Shorts (1100m) at Randwick on September 21 and if he performs well will head to Melbourne.

Snowden hasn’t pushed Sessions as a young horse as indicated by the way he has brought him up through the classes.

The Lonhro four year old has shown gradual improvement along the way as he showed with a solid win over 1100m at Rosehill in a Benchmark 85 Handicap on June 15.

Doomben 10,000 winner Epaulette will go straight to Melbourne and prepare for the $1m Sportingbet Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on October 25 before lining up in the  Patinack Farm Classic two weeks later.
