Waller has entered four in the Rough Habit Plate, Hursley, Mackintosh, Multifacets and Trafalgar and a good performance could see them line in the Group 1 $600,000 Channel Seven Queensland Derby (2400m) at Eagle Farm on June 11.

“They are all on trial for the Queensland Derby,” Waller told AAP.

Mackintosh is a new addition to the Waller stable and the former New Zealand trained three year old was able to score first up for the stable in a 1500m BenchMark 77 Handicap at Hawkesbury on April 30.

“I didn’t know much about Mackintosh before Hawkesbury but he deserves his chance,” Waller said.

“If you had asked me a year ago if I thought Winx would do what she has done I would have said no, so who knows.”

The 2015 Queensland Winter Carnival was the beginning of Winx’s extraordinary winning run that has seen the glamour mare win her last nine starts, which included the Group 3 $125,000 XXXX Sunshine Coast Guineas (1600m) at the Sunshine Coast and the Group 1 $500,000 Treasury Casino & Hotel Queensland Oaks (2200m) at Doomben.

Hursley, Multifacets and Trafalgar all have to prove themselves stepping up in class and distance after being beaten in restricted class at their latest outings although Multifacets did finished third two starts in the Group 2 $175,000 Tulloch Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on March 26.

Waller has already earmarked the Queensland Derby for Encosta Line who was an impressive last start four lengths winner in a 1900m BenchMark 78 Handicap at Rosehill last Saturday.

Eagle Farm trainer Desleigh Forster has also nominated her Queensland Derby hopes Cyclinder Beach and I’m Belucci for the Rough Habit Plate.

Cylinder Beach has been elevated to the top of the Queensland Derby market order at Ladbrokes.com.au at $8 following his first up win in the Group 3 $125,000 ANTEC Gunsynd Classic (1630m) at Doomben on April 30.

Trainer David Vandyke has nominated Brazen, a winner at his last start in an 1800m Class 4 at the Sunshine Coast on May 4 while John O’Shea has the one entry in Eschiele who is a winner at his last two starts in restricted class at Wyong and Warwick Farm.
