Rich Enuff was one of the star performers during the 2015 Spring Racing Carnival and he recorded impressive wins in the Listed McKenzie Stakes (1200m), Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m) and Group 3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude (1400m), but he was denied a maiden win at Group 1 level by Shooting To Win in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m).

The talented colt missed the autumn due to injury and he was never able to recapture his three-year-old form during the 2015 Spring Racing Carnival, with the Written Tycoon entire producing a worse performance every time that he was seen at the races.

Rich Enuff was sent to the spelling paddock after he failed to beat home a single runner in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on October 23 and connections, which includes old trainer Ken Keys, elected to transfer the Group 1 placegetter to the care of Team Snowden for his autumn campaign.

He made his first public appearance for his new trainers when he recorded a comfortable victory in a barrier trial over 839 metres at Royal Randwick on January 29 and is expected to be well-supported ahead of the Southern Cross Stakes this weekend.

Rich Enuff is set to take on eight rivals in the Southern Cross Stakes and a number of his rivals are set to back-up in the Group 3 event after running in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes (1200m) a fortnight ago.

Expressway Stakes winner Our Boy Malachi will not contest the Southern Cross Stakes, but Big Money (third), Tiger Tees (fourth) and Forget (sixth).

Godolphin will have two of the most interesting runners in the Southern Cross Stakes and both Generalife and Vashka are set to return to the races in the $150,000 event.

Generalife has not been seen at the races since he finished second behind Famous Seamus in the Group 3 Kevin Heffernan Stakes (1300m) at Sandown on November 14 and has not recorded a race win since he took out the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes (1200m) in March last year, while Vashka finished his spring campaign with back-to-back wins in the Group 2 Shannon Stakes (1500m) and Group 3 Moonga Stakes (1400m).

The Southern Cross Stakes field is rounded out by last start winner Boss Lane, veteran sprinter Decision Time and Peter Robl-trained Aussies Love Sport.
