The 2015 Golden Slipper odds of Reemah have lengthened substantially since the barrier draw was conducted earlier in the week, but co-trainer Tom Dabernig could not be happier with the filly heading into the Group 1 event at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.

Reemah opened at a quote of $26 when the Golden Slipper final field was released on Tuesday, but there has been no support for the two-year-old since she was allocated barrier 15 and she is out to $41 to win the world’s richest two-year-old race.
The Redoute’s Choice filly is yet to record a race win, but she stamped herself as a filly to watch when she finished a close second behind Pride Of Dubai at big odds in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on February 28.
Reemah arrived in Sydney earlier in the week and Dabernig told Sky Racing HQ this morning that the two-year-old has done everything right heading into the 2015 Golden Slipper this weekend.
“She couldn’t be better,” Dabernig said.
“Since the Blue Diamond she has not missed a beat and she arrived up in Sydney and settled in really well.
“She has been eating and she seems very well in herself.
“She did a little bit of 14 to the furlong today.
“We have a track that we can work S
“We couldn’t be happier with her going into the race.”
Reemah was settled at the tail of the field by jockey Chris Symons in the early stages of the Blue Diamond Stakes and she responded extremely well when asked for an extra effort to go within a neck of causing the biggest upset in Blue Diamond Stakes history.
Kerrin McEvoy has been booked to replace Symons on Reemah, but Dabernig believes that the game plan will be the same and he expects McEvoy to settle the two-year-old well off the pace in the early stages of the Golden Slipper.
“She has drawn a touch wide in the race, but she drew wide in the Blue Diamond and only went down narrowly,” Dabernig said.
“I don’t think that we need to be in a rush on her, we will just let her balance and hopefully she will get taken into the race.
“Obviously you are going to need luck in running from where she is drawn, but we couldn’t be happier with the horse.”
Vancouver remains on top of the 2015 Golden Slipper betting market with Ladbrokes at a quote of $3 from Godolphin colt Exosphere ($4), Silver Slipper Stakes winner Headwater ($12) and debut winner Ready For Victory ($13).
