Racing NSW Loses Patience With Lovelock-Wiggins

Taylor Lovelock-Wiggins

Jockey Taylor Lovelock-Wiggins has been stood down indefinitely by Racing NSW

Today was the final straw for Sydney stewards who have stood down Taylor Lovelock-Wiggins indefinitely after he once again failed to live up to his responsibilities at Warwick Farm today.

Wiggins was unable to fulfil his riding engagements at today’s meeting  and it didn’t take long for Racing New South Wales to determine the outcome.

It’s not the first time Wiggins has found himself in this situation on race day and this was seemingly inevitable for the Canberra based rider.

His master Peter Wiggins was involved in the hearing as well and also accepted the decision that the apprentice be stood down until further notice.

Wiggins had two bookings for this Saturday at Rosehill Gardens and Racing NSW has advised of the rider change in both events.

Race 3, Horse – 8. SHEZAMYTH will now be ridden by apprentice Ben Vassallo

Race 4, Horse – 3. MISKISH will now be ridden by apprentice Ben Vassallo
