Worth $150, 000, this quality Listed race is run over a distance of 2100 metres and is held annually on a Thursday in late November.
Despite being one of New South Wale’s smaller tracks, Gosford Racecourse features first class facilities. The member’s stand, which overlooks the saddling enclosure and the Winning Post, boasts a café and two bar areas, as well as two separate totes and bookmakers facilities. The track also features another two level stand that is open to all members of the public. The first floor is home to a large public bar and betting facilities, while the second floor is fully air-conditioned and enclosed.
Gosford racecourse is best suited to horses that can run on the speed and sprint to a winning break at the top of the straight. Races are run in a clockwise direction and the track has a circumference of 1710 metres and a straight that is 250 metres long.
