Swettenham Stud have announced that both Puissance De Lune and Trust In A Gust will stand on their stallion roster for the 2015 breeding season.

Puissance De Lune was retired after his suffered a second tendon injury ahead of the start of his 2015 Melbourne Festival Of Racing campaign and has been a highly sought after stallion prospect despite being unable to record a win at Group 1 level.
The Shamardal entire stamped himself as one of the most talented stayers in Australia when he took out both the Listed Bendigo Cup (2400m) and Group 3 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2600m) in dominant fashion during the 2012 Spring Racing Carnival and he was made an outright favourite in 2013 Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup betting markets.
Puissance De Lune was narrowly denied a maiden Group 1 victory in both the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) and the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) before he suffered a tendon injury in the Group 1 Cox Plate (2040m) that ruled him out of the Group 1 Melbourne Cup.
The imported stayer returned to racing during the 2014 Spring Racing Carnival and performed well without winning in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m), Makybe Diva Stakes and Turnbull Stakes, but he was prematurely retired following a second tendon injury.
Puissance De Lune will stand at Swettenham Stud for an introductory service fee of $11,000 and will be joined on their roster by Trust In A Gust, who will be retired after he contests the Group 1 BTC Cup (1200m), Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (1350m) and Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1350m) during the 2015 Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival.
Trust In A Gust worked his way through the grades impressively as a three-year-old and picked up plenty of VOBIS prizemoney, but he showed that he was one of the most talented milers in the country during the 2014 Spring Racing Carnival.
The Keep The Faith entire made his debut at Group 1 level in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on September 28 and he fought off Dissident in the final stages to record a tough win before he proved that win was no fluke by taking out the Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield on October 11 with 56.5 kilograms on his back.
Trust In A Gust was set to progress to the Group 2 Crystal Mile (1600m) at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day and the Group 1 Emirates Stakes (1600m), but an injury forced the premature end of his spring campaign and he has not been seen at the races since.
Trust In A Gust will stand for an initial service fee $12,500 and Swettenham are also offering lifetime breeding rights for $30,000.
