The Chris Waller trained 2014 Thousand Guineas winner Amicus along with Precious Gem are among the twenty-one fillies and mares nominated for the Glenlogan Park Stakes.

Precious Gem will possibly be having her last start for trainer Henry Dwyer on Saturday as she is booked to go through the sale ring on June 1 at the Magic Millions 2016 Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale and the Econsul mare added plenty of value to her price when she won the Group 1 $400,000 UBET Classic (Registered as Robert Sangster Stakes) (1200m) at Morphettville on May 7.

“I will have her for the Glenlogan Park which is three or four days before she goes into the ring and then whoever buys her can make a decision what they want to do with her,” Dwyer said.

“She is a six year old mare and she is earmarked to go stud this year. A big group of owners that are in her and they have had a very enjoyable ride along the way and now is the time that is at the peak of her commercial powers and I suppose in terms of getting a good price for her.

“Then someone else can have a crack at her with a couple of more runs in Group races up in Queensland and send her to stud this year.”

Along with Amicus, Waller has also nominated She’s Clean and Telepathic.

She’s Clean is the winner of ten of her forty-two race starts but hasn’t been in the winner’s stall since claiming the Group 3 $125,000 Suez Tibbie Stakes (1400m) at Newcastle in September last year.

The seven year old mare has been well beaten at her two runs back from a spell when sixth in Group 3 $175,000 Godolphin Crown (1300m) at Hawkesbury on April 30 followed by a twelfth in the Group 3 $200,000 Godolphin Dark Jewel Classic (1400m) at Scone on May 14.

While Telepathic will be having her first run back after running tenth in the Group 2 $175,000 Ascend Sales Trophies Emancipation Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on March 26.

Trainer John O’Shea has nominated his smart filly Ghisoni who is also among the first acceptors for the Group 1 $750,000 James Boag’s Premium Doomben 10000 (1350m) on Saturday as is the Kristen Buchanan trained Two Blue.

Ghisoni has had a freshened up since running fifth to Japonisme in the Group 2 $500,000 Arrowfield 3yo Sprint (1200m) at Randwick on April 9.

Gai Waterhouse has entered Kimberley Star and Brisbane’s leading trainer Tony Gollan has nominated his smart mare Traveston Girl.
