Trainer Ciaron Maher was forthcoming in giving his Caulfield Cup favourite, Jameka, a great chance of winning on her home track, but when Moody asked the four year old mare for her thoughts, all she have him was deadly silence.

“Very happy with her preparation,” Maher told Moody on the Mic.

“Two runs at the ten furlongs out to a mile and half on her home track and drop back to the handicap conditions. Happy with her am I think she had improved with each run and Saturday hopefully will be no different.”

Moody returned to Caulfield track work where he prepared a multitude of Group 1 winners, including the great Black Caviar, and did the rounds trying to squeeze out valuable information from his former colleagues, including trainers John Sadler and Robert Smerdon, jockey’s Craig Newitt and Nick Hall as well as Melbourne Cup winning jockey Michelle Payne.
