Connections of the undefeated Pasadena Girl paid the $22,000 late entry fee to the Australian Turf Club to gain a place in the final field of eleven two year olds with the filly drawing well at barrier two.

Moody said that Pasadena Girl deserves her chance to tackle Group 1 company after winning both of her race starts.

The Savabeel filly scored on debut over 1100m at Flemington in the Listed $120,000 Talindert Stakes (1100m) at Flemington on February 21 and followed that with a win in the Group 3 $150,000 TBV Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on March 14.

“She deserves her chance. She’s going great and she’s been in Sydney for a fortnight so the Sydney way of going shouldn’t worry her,” Moody said.

Melbourne jockey Vlad Duric was aboard Pasadena Girl for her two wins and has retained the ride in the Inglis Sires.

Pasadena Girl will be taking on Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Pride Of Dubai and Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes runner-up English.

Trainers Peter and Paul Snowden decided to miss the Group 1 $3.5m Tooheys New Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on March 21 and concentrate on the Inglis Sires with Pride Of Dubai while Gai Waterhouse is happy to back up English after her gallant second to stablemate Vancouver.

Hugh Bowman has picked up the ride on Pride Of Dubai, replacing Damian Browne, and the Street Cry colt will jump from gate six while English, with Golden Slipper winning jockey Tommy Berry in the saddle, has drawn wide at nine.

Victoria colt Ready For Victory is certain to have gained some valuable experience racing the Sydney way of going after he ran off the track in the straight before finishing fourth, less than two lengths behind the winner in the Golden Slipper and has Nick Hall on top again from gate eight.

Queensland two year old Mishani Honcho will return to Sydney for the Inglis Sires after acquitting himself well in two appearances early in the Sydney Autumn Carnival and has regular rider Chris Whiteley to ride again and has drawn nicely at three.

The Les Ross trained gelding was third to Headwater in the Group 2 $250,000 Blackwoods Uvex Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill on February 21 and then ran fourth to Vancouver in the Group 2 $300,000 UNSW Todman Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on March 7.

Premier trainer Chris Waller will saddle up Always Allison who will appreciate the step up to 1400m after finishing seventh as favourite in the Group 2 $175,000 Magic Night Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on March 14.

Waller has acquired the services of Hong Kong super star Joao Moreira for the More Than Ready filly who has drawn the outside of the field at eleven.

Zac Purton is also flying in from Hong Kong for the first day of ‘The Championships’ and will ride Perignon (barrier four) for trainer Gerald Ryan.

The Hawkes Team will be represented with Rageese with Dwayne Dunn from gate ten while Tarquin (barrier seven) will have James McDonald in the Godolphin royal blue looking for another Group 1 trophy for trainer John O’Shea.

The Clarry Conners trained Queen Of Wands has drawn the inside gate with Sam Clipperton to ride.
