Improving filly Pandemonium is rock sold in condition as she steps up sharply in class for the Group 2 $200,000 McGrath Estate Agents Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on Saturday.

Pandemonium is chasing a hat trick of wins and co-trainer Adrian Bott said that the Sebring filly deserves her shot in tougher company following her victories in a 1400m Kembla Grange Maiden on August 10 and in a 1600m BenchMark 70 Handicap at Warwick Farm on August 23.

“I think it is a form line that has to be respected,’’ Bott told Racing New South Wales News.

“She hasn’t raced in the same class as some of the other fillies but she has taken on the boys on both occasions and beaten them convincingly.

“The only knock is going into this race is she’s taking the step back from a mile run. We’ve seen she has the tactical speed and she’s rock hard fit from a good tough 1400m and 1600m run.’’

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained filly led at her last two starts and will have no trouble finding the front again from barrier three in the twelve horse Tea Rose Stakes field with Josh Parr in the saddle.

Pandemonium has had some support in the early betting for the Tea Rose Stakes and has firmed in from $11 to be listed at $9.50 at Ladbrokes.com.au on Friday afternoon.

The Bjorn Baker trained Champagne Cuddles and Lindsay Park’s Tulip are having a great tussle at the top of the market order at $3.50 each ahead of Alizee at $7.50.

Tye Angland will continue his association with Champagne Cuddles (barrier 9) who has been racing consistently with two placings from her two Spring Carnival runs behind Formality at Randwick, a third in the Group 2 $200,000 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) on August 19 following by a second two weeks later in the Group 2 $200,000 Furious Stakes (1200m).
