Luke Nolen will be the new rider for smart filly Bring Me The Maid when she steps out in the Group 2 $175,000 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on Saturday.

Nolen takes over from regular rider Chad Schofield who was slapped with a one month ban for careless riding at Caulfield last Saturday.
Schofield will appeal against the severity of the suspension after stewards bought two cases of careless riding against the young jockey.
Stewards claimed Schofield shifted in on his mount You’re So Good between the 900m and the 700m of the Australian Defence Force Handicap (1100m) causing interference to Bloomingdale Miss (Daniel Moor) and Esprit’s Choice (Dean Yendall).
Schofield was also found guilty for causing interference near the winning post when he allowed his mount to shift in again tightening the running of Danestroem (Jackie Beriman).
“It’s high range and it went on too long,” Chief Stewards Terry Bailey told Schofield.
“We’re tired of it. Everyone is tired of it.
“And there was a similar lack of respect in your evidence in here.”
Schofield had only just returned to the saddle in recent weeks after recovering from a fractured C3 vertabra he suffered in a fall at Cranbourne on June 8 and was looking forward to reuniting with the Peter Moody trained filly.
The outstanding young jockey had been aboard the Sebring filly in all her four starts which produced two wins and two thirds, including a third behind Mossfun and Earthquake in the Group 1 $3.5m Tooheys New Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill on April in April.
Bring Me The Maid scored on debut over 1000m up the Flemington straight in the $120,000 Sports 1000 (1000m) on March 1 before finishing an unlucky third to London Lolly in the Listed $120,000 Chandler Macleod St Albans Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on March 14.
Moody then took the filly to Sydney where she won the Group 2 $175,000 IRT Magic Night Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on March 29 before lining up in the Golden Slipper the following week.
The leading Melbourne trainer has given Bring Me The Maid two barrier trials to prepare her for her Spring Carnival opener with Schofield travelling to Brisbane on July 29 to partner her when second in a 850m Doomben trial.
Schofield’s father Glyn then took over the reins and was impressed with the filly when second to subsequent Group 3 San Domenico winner Nostradamus in a 760m Hawkesbury trial on August 11.
Bring Me The Maid is only one of eight early nominations for the Silver Shadow Stakes with the Australian Turf Club forced to extend nominations until 11am Tuesday, 2014.
Among the nominations is last season’s top two year old Earthquake from the Godolphin stable who is also having her first run since her placing in the Golden Slipper during the Sydney Autumn Carnival.
Godolphin stable rider Kerrin McEvoy will be back on Earthquake on Saturday and will be hoping to stick with her through the Spring Carnival after missing out on the winning ride in the Group 1 $1m Sportingbet Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield during the Melbourne Autumn Carnival because of an injury knee.
