Williams will be flying to Japan on Monday in good form to compete in the World Super Jockey Series as well as riding Rulership in the Group 1 US$5.88m Japan Cup (2400m) at Fuchu, Tokyo on November 25.

That will be followed by a trip to Hong Hong to ride Caulfield Cup winner Dunaden in the Group 1 HK$15m Longines Hong Kong Vase (2400m) and Alcopop in the Group 1 HK$22m Longines Hong Kong Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin on December 9.

Williams made it back to back wins on Mahisara after scoring at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day and is confident the four year old stallion has more improvement in him.

“I’ve pretty happy with the last two rides on him,” Williams said.

“It was a great note to finish off Zipping Classic Day.”

“I fly out on Monday and on the first weekend is the World Super Jockey Series which culminates with the Japan Cup this year and I’m lucky to have a horse in Rulership, but that’s for next week.”

Williams had Mahisara up outside the leader Jungle Ruler and once heads were turned for home Williams let the stallion stride at the 300m and put a winning break in the rest of the field.

Morant ran to the line strongly without threatening the winner for second with the Peter Snowden trained Raspberries running on to finish third.
