Randwick racecourse has recorded 7.2mm of rain during the week with none falling over the last twenty four hours. The rail is out 3m for the entire course.

The final scratchings total of nine include one late one, Queensland filly Traveston Girl coming out of the last race on the program, the Listed $125,000 XIRRUS Fireball Stakes (1100m).

The Randwick Guineas field has been reduced to six runners with the Paul Messara trained Scissor Kick coming out on Friday because of an elevated temperature and Chris Waller has decided to run Kermadec in the Group 1 $500,000 Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington today.

Trainer Anthony Cummings was also forced to scratch Fontelina from the Group 1 $500,000 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) on Friday after the six year old was kicked in the shoulder for another horse, leaving the weight for age race with only eight runners.

Soldi Domani is out of the Group 2 $400,000 Hyland Race Colours Challenge Stakes (1000m) but will run in the Fireball Stakes, which has ended up with eleven runners following the scratchings of Traveston Girl and Mossfun.

Burbero and Phantom Brew are out of the Listed $125,000 Girvan Waugh Partners’ Randwick City Stakes (2000m) and last start Warwick Farm winner Danesiri is not running in the Group 3 $150,000 Aspiration Quality (1600m).
