Trainer Bjorn Baker revealed today that the lucrative Princess Series is set to be the main spring goal for the rising three-year-old and she is likely to contest the Group 2 Furious Stakes (1400m), Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes (1500m) and Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m) after resuming in the Silver Shadow.

Baker said on Racing Ahead that he is very pleased with how Twilight Royale has come back into work and refused to rule out a potential trip down south for the end of the 2013 Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival, if the daughter of Testa Rossa impresses in Sydney.

“She had a jump out this morning and went super so she is very much back on target,” the young Sydney trainer said.

“She is not the biggest filly but she does everything so effortlessly and is definitely very exciting.

“We will start off with the Princess Series but Melbourne is an option, although everything will have to go according to plan.”

Twilight Royale had a remarkably consistent debut campaign at the beginning of this year, which began with a first-up victory in the Inglis Nursery Stakes (1000m) at Warwick Farm on Boxing Day.

After two second place finishes in Sydney, she was taken to Victoria and scored an impressive two and a half-length victory in the Inglis Premier (1200m) at Mornington in February before recording a narrow victory in the Group 2 Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) at Flemington in her black type racing debut.

Twilight Royale will compete in a barrier trial in early August before beginning her preparation at her home track on August 24th.
