Sixteen horses plus three emergencies make up the field for the Railway Stakes and Perth’s leading rider William Pike is certain to give the Grant and Alana Williams trained mare the run of the race from the perfect barrier.

Perfect Reflection is currently the $5 top pick at Ladbrokes.com.au for the Railway Stakes just ahead of the Chris Waller trained Mackintosh at $6.

The Waller stable received a massive blow to winning back to back Railway Stakes after the well fancied Mackintosh with Damien Oliver to ride drew barrier sixteen but will come into gate thirteen if all three emergencies fail to gain a start.

The Waller trained Good Project ($14) took out the 2015 Railway Stakes from Messene and Balmont Girl and the Not A Single Doubt five year old is going around again this year and has drawn midfield at barrier seven with Hugh Bowman in the saddle.

The Williams stable will also have multiple runners and as well as Prefect Reflection will saddle up Disposition ($10), Heart Starter ($15) and Neverland ($31).

Disposition drew the extreme outside barrier at nineteen but will jump from sixteen and will have regular rider Glenn Smith in the saddle, Chris Parnham takes over from Smith on Heart Starter who drew the rails and Peter Hall is sticking with Neverland who came up with barrier ten in the original draw.

Topweight Kawi’s job has been made slightly easier after drawing barrier three and is rated a $13 chance at Ladbrokes.com.au.

The Allan Sharrock trained Kiwi galloper has to carry 58.5kg and Michael Walker will be bale to nurse him for as long as possible from the good barrier.

Market order for the Railway Stakes at Ladbrokes.com.au: $5 Perfect Reflection, $6 Mackintosh, $7.50 Rageese, $8.50 Scales Of Justice, $10 Deposition, Tradesman, $13 Kawi, $14 He Or She, Good Project, $15 Heart Starter, $17 Lite’n In My Veins, $31 Neverland, Great Shot, $34 Ideal Image, $51 Showy Chloe, $61 Zarantz, $71 Balmont Girl, $91 Pornichet, $101 Tick Tick Bloom.
