You’re So Good hasn’t started since finishing eighth to Norzita in the Group 1 $400,000 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on April 6 with Vlad Duric aboard.

Flemington trainer Nigel Blackiston is keen to give You’re So Good another chance at Group one level in the $500,000 Myer Classic (1600m) at Flemington on November 2 after going so close when half a length second to Ferlax in the Group 1 $500,000 Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington on March 2.

After she runs in the Cockram, You’re So Good will head to the Group 2 $220,000 Let’s Elope Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on September 7 on her way to the Myer Classic.

“We’ll hopefully head to the Let’s Elope and then we can determine which way we go for the rest of the carnival,” Blackiston told AAP.

“The Myer Classic will be the main goal but there’s some nice races in between.”

Blackiston knows that the Savabeel mare gives her all every time she steps onto a racetrack and has fitted her for her return with two solid jump outs.

“When she goes out she always gives her best every time. She’ll run a super race, hopefully,” Blackiston said.

Saturday’s assignment has been made slightly easier with Leon Corstens opting not to run Thousand Guineas winner Commanding Jewel, but there will still be a talented line up of mares to contend with.

Last year’s Cockram Stakes winner Lady Melksham is also resuming as is Group 2 Stocks Stakes winner Oasis Bloom and Pay Hyland’s Group 3 winner Bonaria.

Last start Caulfield winner Octavia is stepping up to Group company after an easy three and a half lengths victory while Peter Moody could have up to four runners after nominating Kneeling, Thy, A Time For Julia and Zoomania.
