The battle scarred jockey was only given the all clear to ride again after passing a concussion test on Tuesday following a spectacular fall at Matamata last Sunday.

“I’m pretty good, actually,” Cameron told RSN’s Racing Ahead.

“My neck is a little bit stiff, but other than that a few grazes all over my face and cuts and bruises everywhere, but other than that I am actually walking around and moving around pretty good.”

“I am quite surprisingly good.  “

“I am lucky nothing in broken and nothing serious. It was good to come out unscathed really.”

“Just a bit of whiplash.”

Cameron was keen to get back into the saddle as soon as possible to maintain his association with the Donna Logan and Chris Gibbs trained Hasselhoof who is running in the Listed $125,000 Pacific Hoists Parramatta Cup (1900m).

But it was a bonus to pick up the ride on last start winner Spills The Beans who is one of the top fancies in the Hobartville Stakes.

The Gerald Ryan trained Spill The Beans resumed from a break to score a comfortable one and three quarter lengths win with Tim Clark in the saddle over Le Romain in the Group 3 $150,000 Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on February 6.

Spill The Beans has come in for some support in early betting for Hobartville Stakes and has firmed in from $6 to be the $5.50 second favourite at Ladbrokes.com.au while Le Romain is marked as a $16 chance.

The Chris Waller trained Press Statement heads the market order at $2.60 at his first run back since winning the Group 1 $1m BECK Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield during the 2015 Melbourne Spring Carnival.

On the third line of betting at $8.50 is the favourite’s stablemate Vanbrugh who is also having his first run back from a break.

The Encosta De Lago three year old was sent for a spell after claiming the Group 1 $500,000 Moet & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) at Randwick during the Sydney Spring Carnival.

Hobartville Stakes market order at Ladbrokes.com.au: $2.60 Press Statement, $5.50 Spill The Beans, $8.50 Vanbrugh, $9 Wolf Cry, Montaigne, $11 Dal Cielo, $15 Shards, $16 Le Romain, $21 Too Good To Refuse, $41 Etymology, Tarquin, $51 Torgersen,$81 Balmain Boy.
