Ladbrokes Australia have maintained their status as market leaders in innovation by releasing a new ‘Cash In’ feature that allows customers to instantly deposit money into their Ladbrokes.com.au account at over 1000 participating newsagents right around Australia.
This new agreement with national network Nparcel means that Ladbrokes.com.au are the first online bookmaker in Australia that allow their customers to deposit money over the counter straight into their betting accounts by using either an online code or by purchasing pre-paid cards in store.
Ladbrokes Australia Chief Marketing Officer James Burnett was delighted to announce the new venture and he believes that this is yet another game changing innovative that Ladbrokes.com.au have brought to the Australian betting market following their past success with the Ladbrokes Card and the Ladbrokes Apple Watch app.
“This closes the loop for us by making Ladbrokes Australia the only sports wagering company where you can now put cash in over the counter and directly withdraw from any ATM in Australia as well as get the best odds of SP or best tote,” Burnett said.
“It’s a significant announcement for us – “Cash In” is a REAL game changer.
“This is innovation at its best – taking our product offering of the Ladbrokes card, plus best odds and bringing an easy way to deposit cash into accounts.
“Newsagents are a great network and trusted operator in any city or regional area.”
The deal between Ladbrokes and newsagents has been done with Australian newsagents as part of the national network, Nparcel and their General Manager Chris Samartzis believes that this is another big step for newsagents as they continue to make the transition into the digital era.
“It is a great example of a booming online business deciding to connect with the advantages of face-to-face service in a trusted local retailer,” Samartzis said.
“This Ladbrokes initiative is a huge boost to the re-invention of newsagencies for the digital era.”
Funds that are deposited at any of the over 1000 newsagents offering the Cash In option will go straight into customers’ accounts thanks to retail platform developed by an Australian-based technology company, blueshyft.
This means that customers can simply login into their Ladbrokes.com.au account on their smart phone, select the cash deposit option, find their closest Ladbrokes Cash In newsagency and scan their code in store to make a deposit straight into their betting accounts.
Over 1000 newsagents right around Australia will offer this innovative service and the Ladbrokes Australia app will notify customers where they can find their nearest newsagent to make a deposit.
