The Chris Waller trained ten year old has been ridden by Tye Angland in sixteen of his last seventeen starts since July 2014 but he will be riding at Doomben on Saturday representing New South Wales in the ‘State Of Origin’ jockey Series.

I’m Imposing continues to mix his form but one of his three placings this year was a third to Pornichet in the Group 1 $650,000 The Bundaberg Rum Doomben Cup (2000m) at Doomben during this year’s Brisbane Winter Carnival.

Waller gave I’m Imposing three runs during the Spring with Angland on board with his best effort being a third to Complacent in the Group 3 $125,000 Craven Plate (2000m) at Randwick on October 3.

I’m Imposing has had one run back from a short spell for an eighth to Mighty Lucky in the Listed $150,000 Sky Thoroughbred Central Festival Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on November 28 and Parr is looking forward to a top showing from the evergreen galloper.

“I’m really looking forward to riding I’m Imposing on Saturday,” Parr told Racenet.

“He looks a really honest horse that puts in every time he goes around.

“Chris Waller dominates these Randwick miles so any opportunity to ride one for him is a good one.

“I’ll be going into the race with a lot of confidence.”

Waller has also nominated Telepathic for the Villiers Stakes and the five year old is chasing a hat trick of wins following two victories at Rosehill in a BenchMark 84 Handicap over 1500m on November 14 and in the Listed $100,000 Tyreel Stud ATC Cup (2000m) at Rosehill on November 28.

I’m Imposing has been given the second top weight of 58.5kg, 0.5kg below the 59kg that the John O’Shea trained It’s Somewhat has been allocated for the Villiers Stakes.

It’s Somewhat was beaten a nose when second to Mighty Lucky in the Festival Stakes with the Gerald Ryan trained Peace Force running a gutsy third in a blanket finish.

The Fred Cowell trained Mighty Lucky has been given 55kg, up 1kg on his winning Festival Stakes weight while Peace Force remains the same at 54.5kg.
