Jameka and Sacred Eye are both marked at $3.80 with Ladbrokes.com.au in a congested market that has the John O’Shea trained Ambience closing in at $4.

All three fillies were most impressive in winning their latest outing with the David Hayes and Tom Dabernig trained Sacred Eye beating the colts and geldings in the Group 3 $500,000 Ladbrokes Caulfield Classic (2000m) at Caulfield on October 17.

Jameka from the inform Ciaron Maher stable, also beat the boys when she took out the Group 2 $200,000 Dilmah Exceptional Teas Vase (2040m) at Moonee Valley on October 24

And Ambience put herself into Crown Oaks calculations with a runaway three and a half lengths win in the Group 2 $300,000 Mumm Wakeful Stakes (2000m) at Flemington last Saturday.

Hayes had no problem with stepping Sacred Eye up to the 25000m of the Crown Oaks and said that the High Chaparral filly is a star in the making.

“She is a star and the longer she goes the better she will be,” Hayes said.

Maher also said that his filly Jameka will be suited by the step up in distance after finishing strongly at the end of the 2040m to win the Vase.

“She’s just got that lovely long striding action and is very clean winded, so everything in that regard says she’ll stay but she’s probably bred more on the speed side,” Maher said.

Ambience has risen up through the ranks very quickly after only winning her maiden at Kembla Grange on September 12.

The Street Cry filly then made it back to back wins when she took out the Listed $100,000 TAB Dulcify Quality (1600m) at Randwick on October 3.

O’Shea then took Ambience to Caulfield where she ran third to Crown Oaks rival Dawnie Perfect in the Group 3 $150,000 New Zealand Bloodstock Ethereal Stakes (2000m) on October 17 before winning the Wakeful Stakes.

“She has a lovely turn-of-foot for a staying filly,” O’Shea said.

“It just didn’t go right for her at Caulfield, but she had given indications at home that she had settled in nicely and got on her right leg.”
