Good Standing was also an acceptor for the Group 3 $175,000 Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

“Good Standing will run in the Stan Fox on Saturday at Rosehill,” Cummings tweeted.

Rory Hutchings will take the ride on Good Standing, replacing Glyn Schofield, who rode the colt into fifth place behind Astern in the Group 1 $1m De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill on September 10.

Good Standing is the winner of one of his six race starts when he claimed the winner’s cheque in the Group 2 $175,000 Pro-Ride Skyline Stakes (1200m) at Randwick as a two year old during the Sydney Autumn Carnival.

The Artie Schiller colt is on the third line of betting at $6.50 for the Stan Fox Stakes at Ladbrokes.com.au and is up against a small but classy field of three year old colts.

Divine Prophet from the Team Hawkes stable is at the head of the market order at $2.30 and looked good in scoring a last to first win in the Group 3 $125,000 Primo Smallgoods Up and Coming Stakes (1300m) at Randwick on August 20 before making up plenty of ground from the back when fourth to Astern in the Golden Rose.

The John O’Shea trained Impending also went around in the Golden Rose finishing third and is the second pick for the Stan Fox Stakes at $2.70 with the Peter and Paul Snowden trained Mediterranean at $9.

The other two runners in the Stan Fox Stakes are the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Thronum at $13 and Cellarman from the Chris Waller stable at $31.

Divine Prophet, Impending and Good Standing can all enhance their chances for the Group 1 $1m Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on October 8 with good performances in the Stan Fox Stakes.
