Talented filly Anatina has not been seen at the races since she was narrowly denied a maiden win at Group 1 level by Tiger Tees in the Group 1 The Galaxy (1100m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 29 and is set to make the first public appearance of her spring campaign in the 11th barrier trial of the morning over 800 metres.

Anatina is set to return to the races in the Listed Carlyon Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley on August 23 and connections are expecting big things from the daughter of Fastnet Rock during the 2014 Spring Racing Carnival.

She will be joined in the 800 metres barrier trial by talented sprinter Shamal Wind and Caulfield Cup contender Star Rolling, who is on track to start his spring campaign in the Group 2 P.B. Lawrence Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on August 16.

Politeness performed strongly during the 2014 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, beating the talented Cosmic Endeavour in the Group 3 Bell Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick on April 12, while Bloomingdale Miss returned to winning form in the Melbourne Handicap (1200m) at Caulfield on July 5.

Members Joy has not been seen at the races since she beat home just a single runner in the Group 3 Summoned Stakes (1600m) at Caulfield on November 16 last year and she missed the autumn after finishing fourth in a barrier trial at Cranbourne in January.

One of the interesting participants at the Cranbourne barrier trials on Monday will be talented staying mare Zanbagh, who is set to contest the penultimate barrier trial over 990 metres.

Zanbagh will be making her first public appearance since joining the stable of Patrick Payne, following the tragic passing of her former trainer Guy Walter and the daughter of Bernardini is expected to be set for the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) during the 2014 Spring Racing Carnival.
