Disposition made his racing debut with a comfortable three and a half lengths win in the Provident Financial Services Handicap (1000m) at Northam on September 21 and made his metropolitan debut with a strong victory at Belmont Park on October 1.

The Reset gelding was settled towards the tail of the field in the Listed Belgravia Stakes (1200m) at Ascot on October 18, but was still able to work home strongly to record a maiden black type win and he made it four wins from as many race starts in the Listed Fairetha Stakes (1400m) on November 8.

While Disposition is the clear standout in the WA Guineas field, there are a number of other horses in the field that have put together strong records during their racing careers to date.

Talented filly Delicacy, a stablemate of Disposition, started her racing career with a win at Belmont Park in June and made it three wins on the trot before she suffered a maiden defeat at the hands of Ideal Image in the Listed Burgess Queen Stakes (1400m), but she was able to return to winning form with a narrow victory over Dancing Express and Ideal Image in the Group 3 Western Australian Champion Stakes (1600m) at Ascot on Saturday.

Dancing Express has only recorded one win from nine race starts, but has the chance to turn-the-tables on Delicacy in the Western Australian Guineas, while Ideal Image has also been included in the field for the Group 2 race.

The Fairetha Stakes is set to be the key form race for the Western Australian Guineas; with Rommel, Cuanzo, Tonto, Say Geronimo and Outlaw Peter all given the chance to turn-the-tables on Disposition, while Settlers Creek and Toppa Dawozza are both taking winning form into the race.

The 2013 edition of Western Australian Guineas was taken out by Fred Kersley-trained Ihtsahymn and he went on to take out the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) as well as the Group 2 Cox Stakes (2100m) and he will contest the Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) this weekend.

Other notable horses to have previously taken out the WA Guineas include River Mist (2003), Vain Crusader (2006), Playing God (2010) and Academus (2012).
