Aussie’s Love Sport has been nominated for the $85,000 Racing To Win Handicap (1400m) and the $85,000 BenchMark 85 Handicap (1350m) and will be one of the first runners from Segenhoe Thoroughbred Australia who have recently transferred their stock over to Sargent’s Randwick stable.

The Segenhoe owned Breakfast In Bed has also been nominated for the $85,000 F&M BenchMark 85 Handicap (1200m) at Rosehill and will also be running for the first time under the John Sargent banner.

“Aussies Love Sport is obviously up and going and a last-start winner, so we are just following the program with him. He is ready to race again,” Sargent told The Sydney Morning Herald.

“He is obviously a very talented horse and there could be a nice race in him during the winter.”

“Breakfast In Bed is a nice horse and it seems to be the right race for her as well.

“The stable is made up of a lot of young horses and we are going through them and finding the right trials and races for them. I just need to get to know what is there. It is good to be trusted by Kevin Maloney with these horses and Peter Robl is there to help get to know them.”

The Segenhoe team, previously trained at Warwick Farm by David Vandyke, only arrived at Sargent’s Randwick stables last week and his is quickly getting to know them and working out where to place them.

Aussie’s Love Sport has three wins, two seconds and two thirds from fourteen starts and heads to Rosehill on Saturday on the back of a win over 1200m in a BenchMark 85 at Rosehill on May 30 at his third run in this campaign.

Breakfast In Bed has the good record of seven wins, three seconds and five thirds from twenty-six starts and will be having her first run since running fifth to the Chris Waller trained Catkins in the Group 2 $175,000 Blackwoods Sidchrome Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill on February 21.
