Sheidel with Joao Moreira in the saddle was expected to take up the running in the early stages of the Robert Sangster Stakes, but Damien Oliver speared across on Secret Agenda to find the lead.

Secret Agenda was flying under her own steam and she put a couple of lengths on her rivals coming around the bend before she really kicked clear when asked for an extra effort from Oliver.

Viddora and I Am A Star both ran on nicely, but they never looked like getting to Secret Agenda and she ran through the line strongly to claim the biggest win of her racing career to date.

Secret Agenda has long promised to breakthrough for a maiden win at Group 1 level and she did just that in just her second race start at the highest level.

The daughter of Not A Single Doubt generally produces the best performances of her campaign fresh and there was question marks over her future after she was a tough flat when she resumed in the Listed Ladbrokes Hareeba Stakes (1200m) at Mornington on March 25, but she put those concerns to bed when she won the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick on April 8 on the second day of The Championships.

Viddora was making her debut at Group 1 level and she showed that she was more than capable of competing at this level following her win over Illustrious Lad in the Group 3 R N Irwin Stakes (1100m) at Morphettville on April 22.

I Am A Star produced another gallant effort in third and added another Group 1 placing to her already impressive racing resume.
