There is not a great deal between a number of the leading chances in the Crown Oaks, but we have analysed every runner in the field to give you all the information you need about every single runner in the $1 million race.

Pasadena Girl – She is yet to record a race win this preparation, but she hit the line strongly in the Thousand Guineas and the Moonee Valley Vase and is one of the horses in the field that is sure to relish the wet track.

Jameka – Jameka absolutely savaged the line in the Atlantic Jewel Stakes, Thousand Guineas Prelude and the Thousand Guineas before she took out the Moonee Valley Vase in most impressive fashion. She is the horse to beat, but she has no experience on a wet track.

Sacred Eye – The Crown Oaks has been her major goal all preparation and she finally returned to winning form with a strong staying effort in the Ladbrokes Caulfield Stakes, but she has been on the drift and the state of the track is some concern.

AmbienceAmbience rocketed to the top of 2015 Crown Oaks betting markets when she took out the Dulcify Quality, but she ran poorly in the Ethereal Stakes. She returned to winning form in the Wakeful Stakes, but may have been flattered by the track.

Honesta – The promising mare has been up and racing since July and she is yet to record a win at Stakes level, but she was only narrowly denied in the Tea Rose Stakes, Flight Stakes and Ethereal Stakes. She looks like she will the relish the step-up top 2500 metres and she is the best roughie in the race.

The Grey Flash – The Grey Flash is the extreme outsider in the field and it is fairly easy to see why. She has not recorded a race win this preparation and she was beaten by more than seven lengths in the Wakeful Stakes.

Muzyka – The Gerald Ryan-trained filly graduated from a dominant maiden win at Wyong to finish a good third in the Wakeful Stakes. She was trapped in the wrong part of the track that day and there was plenty of merit in the performance.

Ritzy – There has been some money for Ritzy and she looks as though she will relish the step-up to 2500 metres, but she would have to improve significantly on her performance in the Wakeful Stakes to be any chance in the Crown Oaks.

Zarabeel – Zarabeel is yet to record a race win and it is tough to see her breaking her maiden in the Crown Oaks, but there was some merit in her efforts in the Ethereal Stakes and the Wakeful Stakes.

Dulverton – The Robert Smerdon-trained filly has only recorded one win from four race starts, but she finished a tough fifth behind Extra Choice in the Geelong Classic and she looks like she will relish the step-up to 2500 metre as well as the wet track.

Prince Aria – Another maiden that it is tough to see winning the Crown Oaks, but we didn’t see Prince Of Penzance winning the Melbourne Cup either.
