Premiership winning trainer Peter Moody topped the 200 winners mark for the season with Thursday’s Donald winner House Of Hingis and has a great chance to add to the tally at Flemington on Saturday.

Moody will saddle up seven runners at Flemington with several top chances that could see him get closer to his best winning total of 209 winners the stable achieved in the 2011 – 2012 season.
The Caulfield based trainer also runs a stable out of Randwick in Sydney as well as travelling to all the major Carnival around Australia.
Stable apprentice Regan Bayliss rode House Of Hingis to victory at Donald and was also responsible for riding a winning double for Moody at last Saturday’s Randwick meeting when he steered Kenjorwood to win the $85,000 Shoot Our Mile (1600m) and Noela’s Choice to win the $85,000 BenchMark 80 Handicap (1600m).
Moody knows that it is not a one man operation and was quick to thanks all connected with the stable via twitter.
“Massive thank you to staff jocks and owners for another great result this season #200,” Moody tweeted.
Moody has several good chances at Flemington on Saturday and will combine with Regan Bayliss again with Handsome Tycoon in the $40,000 Garden View Pavillion Handicap (1200m), Kept Woman in the $80,000 Wilson Medic One Rising Stars Final (1800m) and Zuma Roc in the $80,000 Bruce Gadsden Handicap (1400m).
Last start winner Handsome Tycoon comes to town after winning over 1200m at Sale on June 24 and heads the market with Ladbrokes.com.au at $4.80, Kept Woman is rated an $11 chance following her latest win at Bendigo on June 28 while Zuma Roc is one of the outsiders at $26.
Moody’s other top chances on the nine race program are La Venta (Dwayne Dunn), a $7.50 chance in the Garden View Pavillion Handicap, Il Cavallo (Dunn), the $3.50 favourite for the $80,000 VRC Recognition Handicap (1000m) and Herstory (Dunn), the $4 top pick in the $80,000 Chicquita Handicap (1400m).
Moody will also saddle up Gold Symphony in the $80,000 The Flemington Family Handicap (1200m) with Chad Schofield to ride the $12 chance.
The stable will also have two runners at Pakenham today, Candeo and Royal Illusion and will be represented at Rosehill on Saturday with Fifty Eight Facets (Sam Clipperton), a $13 chance in the $85,000 Ladbrokes.com.au Handicap (1500m) and last start winner Noela’s Choice (Kathy O’Hara) who is in the market at $7.50 in the Listed $100,000 Sydney Markets Limited Winter Stakes (1400m).
Moody is still an outside chance of collecting his fifth Melbourne trainer’s premiership and with four Metropolitan meetings remaining is on sixty-eight winners, seven behind front runner Darren Weir on seventy-five.
