Miss Promiscuity is set to have her first race start since joining the stable of Anthony Cummings in the Listed A.R. Creswick Series Final (1200m) at Flemington on Saturday and the leading Sydney trainer is confident that the talented filly is forward enough to win first-up.

Miss Promiscuity made her racing debut with a win at Dunkeld under the care of leading Melbourne trainer Peter Moody and stamped herself as a horse to watch with dominant victories in the Asian Pacific Group Handicap (1200m) at Moonee Valley on December 20 last year and the Tauto Handicap (1200m) at Flemington on January 11.
The Magnus filly was well-backed to score her maiden black type win in the Group 3 Typhoon Tracy Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on February 21 and loomed as the winner, but was narrowly denied victory by the talented Jazz Song.
Miss Promiscuity was sent to the spelling paddock and swapped stables following her Typhoon Tracy Stakes defeat before making her first public appearance with a barrier trial victory, over 740 metres at Royal Randwick on June 27, which impressed her new trainer.
“This is her first run for us,” Cummings told Racing Ahead.
“She came with some good form and she is plainly a nice filly.
“She had one trial here in Sydney and then headed off to Melbourne.
“Her trial was very good and she came out of it very well and I am looking forward to a good run from her in what looks a nice race.”
Miss Promiscuity will be taking on a strong field in the Creswick Series Final, but has been well-backed in the lead-up to the race and is set to start favourites over the likes of Hard Stride, Kievann and Under The Louvre.
Cummings believes that Miss Promiscuity will improve the further she gets into her racing campaign, but he is confident that she is forward enough to win the Creswick Series Final first-up this weekend.
“I think so,” Cummings said when asked if Miss Promiscuity can win first-up.
“Plainly she will improve on the run, but I do expect that she is not that far away.”
Miss Promiscuity ($4.60) is a clear favourite in the 2014 Creswick Series Final betting market from Hard Stride ($7.50), Under The Louvre ($9), Kievann ($9) and Pyrrolic ($9).
