Miracles Of Life has been included in the catalogue for the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale that will be held at the Gold Coast at the end of the month and Clarken said that he is unsure whether the new owners will continue to race the Not A Single Doubt filly or send her straight to the breeding barn.

Clarken told Racing Ahead said that it will be an emotional time saying goodbye to the horse that gave him a maiden Group 1 victory as a trainer and is thankful for what Miracles Of Life has done for his entire stable.

“We nominated for The Goodwood, but she will go through the sale ring and whether she gets sold off as a racing proposition or she will go straight to the breeding barn I don’t know,” Clarken said.

“This will probably be her last start under my care.

“It will be a bit emotional; I won’t be walking into the stable and seeing her little head pop over the door and she is the first one out to work every morning.

“It is a bit of an emotional time for us and she has taken us on a great journey.

“It is one of those things – that is racing.”

Miracles Of Life was ruled out of the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville last weekend after suffering from a mild bout of colic, but Clarken believes that the three-year-old has recovered well from the minor setback.

Clarken feels that Miracles Of Life was unlucky not to record her first race win for over a year in both the Listed Manihi Classic (1050m) and the Listed Redelva Stakes (1050m) and is confident that she is a genuine winning chance this weekend.

“She is terrific,” Clarken said.

“She has got over her little setback last week and she is bright as a button and I am very happy to go around tomorrow.

“She had a little bit of swimmers colic on the Thursday and we had to give her a bit of pain relief that put her out of contention for Saturday.

“That was all it was and she got over that pretty quickly.

“She hasn’t missed any work and she has presented herself pretty well this week.

“You can make a case for both of them and in saying that she ran gallant both days.

“She is rock hard fit for Saturday and 1200 is going to suit her a lot better.

“It is on her home track and things look pretty good for her.”

Miracles Of Life is currently on the second line of 2014 Euclase Stakes betting markets; with Robbie Griffiths-trained The Quarterback ($3) a narrow favourite.
