Trainer Daniel Clarken looks set to get one more run out of his stable star Miracles Of Life when she backs up in the Group 1 $500,000 The Tapestry Wines Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

Miracles Of Life won her first race since taking out the 2013 Group 1 $1m Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield when she scored by almost two lengths in the Group 2 $250,000 Sportingbet Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville last Saturday.
The flashy chestnut filly is going through the sale ring at the Magic Millions National Sales at the Gold Coast at the end of May and Clarken is hoping for another Group 1 victory from the speedster.
The Morphettville trainer said that Miracles Of Life had pulled up in great order after her win last Saturday and he is expecting further improvement for the Goodwood on the weekend.
“She’s pulled up great,’’ Clarken told the Herald Sun.
“At the moment she’s definitely running.’’
“I reckon she’ll improve. I’ve never asked her to do it (back up) because I’ve never had to, but I’ve got no doubt she will be better next week than she was on Saturday.’’
The Group 1 $400,000 Sportingbet Classic (1200m) at Morphettville last Saturday week was to be Miracles Of Life’s final racetrack appearance but Clarken was forced to scratched her because of a bout of colic.
But owners Teeley Assets Ltd decided to give her another chance to return to the winner’s stall last Saturday and it now looks like she will get her chance to go out a Group 1 winner if she can take out the Goodwood.
Clarken was confident Miracles Of Life had overcome her colic prior to the Sportingbet Stakes and got excited when the rain came leading up to the race, giving new rider Dean Yendall a comfortable win.
“As soon as the rain came, I just knew she was a good thing,’’ Clarken said.
“It was stealing money. I knew she’d be a nob in it.’’
Clarken would love to keep Miracles Of Life racing and has picked out a couple of suitable races over the Brisbane Winter Carnival but as it stands she will be going to auction at the end Of May.
“At the moment the owners are selling,” Clarken said.
Miracles Of Life currently shares the second line of betting for the Goodwood with last year’s winner Platelet at $7 just behind up and coming sprinter Sistine Demon who is the $5.50 favourite.
The Gai Waterhouse trained Driefontein is next in the betting at $8 ahead of Unpretentious at $9 and Sessions and Essay Raider at $11.
