Miracles Of Life Supported In The Goodwood Betting

Talented filly Miracles Of Life is now available at 2014 The Goodwood odds of $7 and has been one of the best backed runners in the betting market for the Group 1 event that will be held at Morphettville on Saturday.

Miracles Of Life has been well supported in The Goodwood betting markets after she drew gate two for the $500,000 race while a number of the other leading chances, like Platelet and Sistine Demon, drew towards the outside of the capacity field.

Trainer Daniel Clarken told Sky Racing HQ that he was delighted to draw an inside gate with Miracles Of Life and is hoping that the Not A Single Doubt filly will receive a lovely run into the race just off the speed this weekend.

“We have drawn barrier two and let’s hope the dream does live on,” Clarken said.

Driefontein likes to go forward and Andrew Noblet’s horse (Sistine Demon) that has drawn out in the bushes has probably got no choice and will have to go forward, so that is going to put a bit of pressure on.

“With a bit of luck she is probably going to be running fourth or fifth somewhere, just camped right on their back.

“It is going to make them work and hopefully we can just get the cozy run.

“I will leave that up to Dean Yendall that is his job.”

Miracles Of Life was expected to have her final race start in the Group 2 Euclase Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville last Saturday before being sold at the National Magic Millions Sale on the Gold Coast at the end of the month, but earnt herself at least one more race start by scoring an impressive victory.

Clarken said that he was full of confidence that Miracles Of Life would return to winning form last weekend and is delighted that he has the opportunity to give her another chance at Group 1 level in The Goodwood.

“I was very confident Saturday morning,” Clarken said.

“Her two runs in Adelaide had been fantastic and going up to the 1200 with a bit of rain on the track just made me more confident.

“I was thrilled to see her go about what she did.

“I had seen her work on a bit of a rain affected track and with her action and pedigree, there was a whole host of things that added up and she is race fit.

“I just thought that today was her day and she just went about her business and did what we know she can do.

“It was really nice of Teeley to continue own and let me present her again on Saturday.

“The dream lives on.”

The 2014 The Goodwood betting market is extremely open; with Driefontein, Miracles Of Life ($7), Platelet ($7.50) and Sistine Demon ($8) all available at single figure The Goodwood odds.
