Miracles Of Life was having her first run back after finishing midfield in the  Group 3 $200,000 G.H. Mumm Stakes (1100m) at Flemington during the 2014 Melbourne Cup Carnival.

But her fresh record is great and she repeated her first up winning effort from her Spring Carnival campaign when she dead heated for first with Bel Sprinter in the Group 2 $200,000 Perri Cutten Caulfield Sprint (1100m) at Caulfield.

Top Sydney jockey Hugh Bowman gave Miracles Of Life ($6) a dream run in fifth spot behind the two leading divisions and once heads were turned for home the flashy chestnut mare exploded down the middle of the track to record a two and a quarter lengths win over Va Pensiero ($12) and the unlucky Rubick ($3.20 favourite).

Favourite backers would have been frustrated when Kerrin McEvoy on Rubick was held up on the fence behind the leaders with nowhere to go, only to get into the clear when the race was over.

Winning trainer Peter Snowden was quick to give Bowman a rapt for his first class ride but also had plenty of accolades for the former top rated two year old who was the talk of the town when she won the 2013 Group 1 $1m Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield.

“Super ride. In the perfect spot. She is so gallant,” said Peter Snowden who trains in partnership with his son Paul.

“She just tries so hard, very very genuine. Its is a big ask as a two year old, small as she was, usually that is the end of them, she is such a courageous little filly, it is just so good to see her bounce back today.”

“That’s what makes it special. She just keeps turning up, this day is all about her today.”

“She was dominant and arrogant and God bless her.”
