Miracles Of Life returned to racing with a most impressive victory in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes (1000m) at Royal Randwick on March 7 and she was sent for a brief freshen-up after she hit the line strongly to finish third behind Sweet Idea in the Group 1 The Galaxy (1100m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 21.

The Not A Single Doubt mare was given a barrier trial over 1044 metres at Royal Randwick on April 13 and she confirmed that she was ready for a return to racing in the Robert Sangster Stakes after she took up the running in the early stages of the trial and proved far too strong in the final stages for the likes of Drago and Hawkspur.

Snowden told Sky Racing HQ that Miracles Of Life would leave for Adelaide on Sunday night and he is confident that the four-year-old is capable of recording a second win at Group 1 level in the Robert Sangster Stakes if she draws the right barrier.

“She is in really good order.

“She trialed at Randwick last week and she has really done well.

“She has been booked in to travel down to Melbourne on Sunday night and she will meet up with Marianne at Flemington and they will both go across to Adelaide either the Wednesday or the Thursday before the Group 1 Saturday week.

“She loves being in the stable environment, she has freshened up nicely, she looks great and she looks every bit as good as she was when she won first-up.

“She is full of beans and I looking forward to getting her over there.

“She is going every bit as good as what she has ever been, which is why she is still racing.”

American-based Stonestreet Stables purchased Miracles Of Life as a breeding proposition at the 2014 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale, but Snowden said that they are keen to continue to race the mare until she loses her zest for racing

“She was on a hiding to nothing and they said if she doesn’t want to be there they would retire her to stud, but it has never been an option for her,” Snowden said.

“She wants to be here alright.”

The 2015 Robert Sangster Stakes nominations will be released on Monday and is set to include the likes of Platelet, Magnifisio and Politeness.
