Last seasons’ premiership winning jockey James McDonald will take over the reins on a fit Inz’N’Out in the Group 3 $150,000 Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

Inz’N’Out will be stepping up in class and distance after finishing second as favourite in the $50,000 TAB Place Multi BenchMark 75 Handicap (1100m) at Canterbury on Australia Day when ridden by Brenton Avdulla.
Trainer Gerald Ryan was willing to forgive Avdulla’s ride on the three year old, which he described as disappointing, but McDonald gets the nod because of Avdulla’s current careless riding suspension.
“I was a bit disappointed in the ride,” Ryan told AAP.
“He took off too soon and got run down.
“But Brenton has been riding really well and it’s a shame he has got this suspension.”
Avdulla was suspended for causing interference on the Kim Waugh trained Forget at Randwick on January 24 and is on the sidelines until February 12 after beginning his time out on February 2.
Ryan admits the he is setting Inz’N’Out a tough task up against some well performed three year olds but is hoping that his race fitness will be the telling point in the finish.
“Inz’n’out is very honest and very consistent,” Ryan said.
“I don’t know if he has the class of these horses but he has fitness on his side.”
The Zariz colt is lightly raced with two wins from seven starts but is rock hard in condition following three runs back from a spell which have produced three placings in restricted grade.
A first up second over 1200m at Canterbury in a $85,000 three year old BenchMark72 saw Inz’N’Out beaten a nose by Music Magnate on December 20 and was then placed again when third over 1150m against the same class at Randwick January 10 before his last start second at Canterbury..
Inz’N’Out is one of eleven three year olds nominated for the Eskimo Prince Stakes with the Paul Messara trained Scissor Kick heading the list.
Scissor Kick is a winner of three races from seven starts which includes a narrow second to Hallowed Crown in the Group 1 $1m De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose Stakes (1400m) at Rosehill during the 2014 Spring Carnival.
Leading trainer Chris Waller again dominates the nominations with four entries, Delectation, Kermadec, Harrier Jet and Quick Strike.
Teofilo colt Kermadec is the highest weighted of the Waller quartet on 58.5kg because of his last start win in the Group 3 $200,000 Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on November 1 while Delectation (57kg) is also resuming after running second to stablemate Brazen Beau in the Group 1 $500,000 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on the same day.
